Westward Capital Management is a private equity firm that invests in and acquires profitable, small to mid-sized businesses in the media, marketing services, information, and communications industries. Our mission is to build great businesses that generate long-term shareholder value by partnering with talented management teams in pursuit of exciting market opportunities.

Westward looks for established companies with defensible positions in growing markets, and for management teams capable of taking these businesses to the next level. Frequently, our investment targets are those that “slip between the cracks” of the traditional private equity and venture capital communities, falling beneath the size requirements of most private equity firms, but lacking the high risk premiums often sought by venture capital firms. We typically seek initial equity investments of $5-10 million, though we will evaluate both smaller and larger transactions on a case by case basis. Our financial experience allows us to accommodate a wide variety of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth equity.
